Well that old thing was getting depressing. I think I've started to feel better, I dunno. Right when I started to feel better I suddenly had a full-blown panic attack though. Blah. What the hell. I haven't had another one though, so...maybe it was just a release and it won't happen again.

Anyways, since video games are pretty much the only thing I'm really able to immerse myself in lately, after several weeks of not playing at all, I'm impressed with this Assassin's Creed thing my brother borrowed from one of his friends. Not because of the graphics/gameplay, which are good, but more because of the race of the main character Altair Ibn La-Ahad. He's Arabic. I think I'd be right in saying that the majority of American video games have white males as main characters. Off the top of my head, I can think of one of the Grand Theft Autos, and Heavenly Sword as two games that don't have white characters. But everything else I can think of...they're all white males. I'm not counting the games where you play an animal obviously. Also, I'm just considering the American games, since Japanese games are just completely different.... But I think it's about time American games started making more diverse characters, I think it was a really great thing for them to come out with an Arabic main character. I also noticed the character development/personality was better in this game than most American games. There's also some nice political stuff happening, which is nice because most U.S. games don't bother with stuff like that. I still say the Japanese are way ahead of us but I wanna draw Altair. I actually kinda feel like drawing him which is good. I don't know why people don't talk about this stuff more, I think it's groundbreaking to have an Arabic main character in a video game. But nobody has said anything about it. I dunno, maybe I'm overreacting.

Also Flower looks super cool. And Tekken 5 is in fact, awesome, because there's a capoeira fighter in it. That style of fighting that looks like breakdancing. Leave it to the Japanese to make something completely mind-blowingly awesome.

Also, I'm pretty sure Final Fantasy Versus XIII is gonna be the best game ever made in the history of the universe. I can partly predict that for the sole reason that it's Japanese. The Japanese are so genius at games it's not even funny.

Also I just found out that pill bugs (or woodlice), those little gray bug things that roll up into balls when they're scared, AREN'T BUGS. They're CRUSTACEANS. Like crabs and lobsters and stuff. And um...there are giant ones. Not kidding. [link] Giant isopod. I WANT one. It's so beautiful. I think I'm in love with it. I dunno how long they last above water though. They're marine. Meh.

I also want a pet pig. Real bad. They're smarter than dogs. My guinea pig is pretty smart too though. I'm thankful to still have her even though my bunny died. I'm kinda able to to be amused by her again, so that's good. She's extremely goofy. Although I still have this anxiety about losing her maybe that's normal though and I guess it isn't as overpowering as it was a few weeks ago....

Oh yeah and for some reason I got offered another scholarship. I was told I screwed that up when I screwed up some classes this semester but I got a letter a couple days ago.... Wasn't expecting that.... Still no job though. NOBODY is hiring. Michigan is so stupid. Okay, TWO places are hiring. Everywhere else I looked wasn't. I blame Texas-Redneck-Man-That-Somehow-Became-President.
